I have a 7.3 Powerstroke and a 5.9 Cummins. The only real experience that I have with 6.0s is that we have 5 of them at work. They mostly just haul a diesel tank and a tool box, but sometimes they pull 14000 lb trailers. They've got around 100000 on them, now. I don't know why, but haven't had any problems with any of them. I think that its probably because they get regular maintenance and don't get worked hard all the time. They're also all stock. A lot of people have trouble with them when they put chips in them. Personally, I wouldn't buy one unless I got it cheap enough that I could afford to upgrade the head studs, turbo return line, EGR cooler, etc.
