Had a neighbor who came with hat in hand one time- middle of haying season, their baler jumped time and baled a good portion of itself, could they borrow my baler? Well, I've still got hay to bale myself. No problem- we'll bale all the rest of your hay, just tell us when its ready, we'll work it in with ours. OK- give them the baler. "We'd have respected your decision if you declined to loan it- but some folks loan and others don't." As I left I told them "You've made a believer out of me, that's for sure."
