no they wanted the truck and the money under the pretence that he needed it right away for his wifes birthday, which would give me no time for the check to clear. it was a classic truck and i have heard of this scam before, they ship them out of the country asap. when i would not take a check i never heard from him again. there was no shipper involved somebody was going to come get the money and drive the truck to Canada
