It is many times not the dealership or parts mans fault. The companies are reducing inventory. Some where they may have decided to sub the old part to a newer number/part. That may have worked in most applications but not yours.
Try to put a new wiper arm on a JD 14T square baler. You have to grind a relief on the cast knotter support frame.
You may have to get a used one and have it rebuilt. That way you would have the correct pulley.
