My IH 3414 is slipping. It is going into gear from the hydrashuttle not at all, then sort of all at once and it will lose its giddyup sometimes when I go up a hill, etc. I did a transmission service on it and changed all the fluids (after the problem) and I realized there is a pretty bad leak by the differential where one of the axles is bolted on. I have no idea how to fix that leak (there is probably a gasket, but it'd be darn impossible to take the axle off without a huge gantry as the rear wheels basically support the whole machine. I also have no idea if the slippage is something really bad or not. Hoping jdemaris can give me some ideas. I saw a thread on an IH3414 and he was recommenting a pin, but I don't know if this problem is the same or not ...and the leak is another issue. My IH is a diesel with a nice working backhoe. tia
