Got out early too, have the impending doom, (thunderstorm) on the horizon, so.... out the back door of my kitchen to the produce department,(garden) for lettuce, tomato's, cucumbers, bell peppers, just enough for 1 bowl each evening, then it's those specially made (no nitrites) venison hot dogs on the grill, simple but good. At some point soon there will be some marinated venison back strap cuts, potatoes and onions from the garden, just waiting till some of those are large enough to harvest. Almost time to harvest a bunch of tomato's, looks like I will have enough for a big ole batch of sauce this year.
Nothing fancy around here for the most part never have the time, but having that small patch of a garden that I look over from my kitchen window is what makes this time of year the best !
