You should consider checking the accuracy of your stereotypes. I don't hate guns at all. I'm not very comfortable with the idea of unregistered guns, easy/undocumented transfer of ownership or believe in the need to carry one everywhere you go. I am sorry that you cannot differentiate those specific concerns from the overall idea of firearm ownership.
