agreed hands down ,on great fuel economy for case . with dads dc i have beat a famous tuf m at the county tractor pull .i have 54 sc that mite outpull a h ihc ,AND A 49 VAC IF WEIGHTED PROPERLY WILL CERTAINLY TAKE UP FOR THE whiney sc and put that h in his place,. Every VAC I ever was around,time and again had far more Heart and soul than any Sc simply by turnin up the carb jet .yes that chain drive is like a winch! .. ihc were always dependable starting in all weather conditions if left alone for monthes , better dependable trouble frre brakes too ... case brakes were just as good except you had to stay after them adjusting , as far as comfort and safety , case to me wins easily ,rarely will you rip your thumbs off with a case front wheel gettin stuck in a dead furrow ,,, all case models employed angled steerin ,,large strong fenders and stable platform station ..//

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
