The OnStar box is buried under the dash. One could find it and install a toggle switch into the 12V supply. As the fuse that supplies OnStar may carry some other loads. A simple three way toggle switch into the antenna right at the Onstar box could do too if the antenna was shorted to chassis. It's surprising how well some radios will still send and receive without an antenna even plugged in. As far as big brother? Every bank and card transaction tracks you. Number recognition and facial recognition could be operated from every ATM, bank, store and street camera. Big Brother is watching.
