I hear you and have many of the same ideas. I always thought that GM products were more comfortable and had better ride and handling. BUT I also got tired of all the problems I had with them ! I also don't like the idea of onstar. I'd rather be able to delete and pocket the savings.It has to add alot to the price.
I have a 1996 Dodge that has been pretty good,but had a later 06 Dodge van that had many problems. I think the later Dodges may have alot of quailty issues too. Likely alot of PO'ed workers on the line.
Our family has pretty much switched over to a mainly Honda fleet. Way less problems !!! Had a few Toyotas too,but they still don't make a truck to compete with an F350. The Tundra may match up to a 2500 ? not sure never even drove one.
