I suppose you are right. Untill people put away their televisions and make government more important to them than who is doing the best in the NFL or NBL we will continue to have this stuff handed to us as accomplished facts. Government is supposed to be of, by and for the people. But the people have abrogated their resposibilities - even so far as never going to their local school board meetings or tax board meetings. So I guess they'll get what they deserve.
