No big advantage to registering and don't think it helps the filter at all. It does let people know where you're from if you choose to enter that information. It also allows you to password protect your name. See that post made by you that says 'test'. I'll bet you didn't make that post. Anybody can pose as you unless you password protect your name which means your registered.
