Good choice on the old dodge, although I would have recommended something pre 90s since even a 10 year old truck still has a ECU tracking your driving habits. Something with a carburetor would probably suit ya better.
I'm still not sure what all the fuss about a bit of technology is, but then again I've always kinda been a tech junkie (who likes classic tractors and cars... go figure lol) but if thats your preference sticking with older vehicles rather than trying to hack parts off the hightech cars is definitely the way to go.
