Another MIA is Roger in Kansas.I enjoyed his posts and pictures of his Minny Mo stuff. Now he is not keeping us up to date on his quests and adventures chasing MM machinery.Dad was an Oliver guy and I had some AC stuff but dad did have a 1950 MM U hidden away in the shed and he used to delight in sauntering around with a neighbor visiting and he would take them into the old shed over the hill and there was the U shiny and new as could be and the visitor would be in awe of that machine even tho there were 5 Olivers and a Ford up by the barn.Just something about a MM U that will atract every ones attention. This lasted until every one had been shown the new MM U. My dad was an old German Farmer and he really pinched his pennys but that U was the only machine he ever bought that he did not really have a need for. Around march of 1981 shortly before his death he spent a few days going thru the list of people who wanted first chance to buy that MM U.The only problem was ,some of the requests were 25 years old and many of the potential buyers were dead already. I think this fact worked on his health and furthered his own demise,3-15-1981 James Harmon.RIP Dad.
