The injection pump body maybe a common unit that uses larger pump elements for other applications. Larger pump elements will require higher injector tip flow. The pump and injectors need to be matched other wise #1 power won't increase. Or #2 the pump breaks due to line/injector flow restriction. Add air and fuel while watching the exhaust pyrometer. Stop at 1200F or use an intercooler and/or water injection to keep temps down. Save yourself some time and $$$ by purchasing thr engine HP you want. Instead of trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
