I talked to one of the club members that does the show at the lake about an hour ago or so. He said that he did his best to keep the lake show going through today (Monday).
I don't know if there was ever that much on Monday itself in the past at the lake but Saturday and Sunday are a much "safer bet" for anything you want to do.
I won't get into all the places that USED to have the true Labor Day itself stuff, but most are gone. Not as easy to get time off, especially the day after a holiday, to "clean stuff up and put it away".
