Had one of those on Friday at the barn where I work part-time. Needed to get a tire replaced on a water wagon. Welded a washer on the rusted out section where the valve stem goes. Tire guy wouldn't mount it, said rim was too scaly and still had "see-through" spots. Ended up buying a new rim, will clean up the old one and use as a spare. Then, someone said the tractor was stuck halfway out of the barn with the manure spreader attached. Steering went out on it. Blocking aisle in the barn and driveway outside. That took the rest of the day to disassemble it, call on parts (way too $$$$), disconnect spreader, hook up to another tractor, drag broken tractor (with no steering) out of the way. Worked into the evening to "jerry-rig" the steering as there was a horse show this weekend and they needed the tractor. Never did get to working on the roof of the new addition to the barn as I had planned.
