I am working on an 8N for a neighbor. Got it and it was lacking compression on three cylinders. Been told it was overhauled less than a hundred hours ago but ten years ago by a local guy so didnt figure the engine worn out. Did a wet compression test and it was 40, 60, 70 and 90. Bought the little required wrenches and adjusted the valves to .016. the compression is now 70,80,80 and 95 psi wet. Problem is now I have no spark. There is power to the + side of the coil and power to the - side of the coil intermitant with the points opening but have no fire on any plug wire. Is this an indication of the coil going bad or something in the distibutor? The cap and rotor are in good shape, look new. thanks for any help
