The worst was a 1976 Allis-Chalmers 185. I bought it in 1987 and could not believe that a tractor that new still had to use the hand clutch to have live PTO. It had 1900 original hours. Local neighbor owned it from new, I was second. It would fly out of fourth gear. Three point hitch control was bad. I only owned that tractor four months and sold it at a $500 loss. I was still glad to see it go. The wife told me to never have another AC on the place. She had driven it to square bale with and hated that short little hand clutch/hi/low lever. Finally by the end of the day she was just kicking it with her foot to shift it.
Second place would be a John Deere 2010. Worst JD tractor ever built. Terrible to work on. I refuse to work on them any more. I am too old to have that much aggravation.
