Rod Bearing Clearance

Had to tear down my CASE 300 because of low oil pressure before the serivce manual has shown up. Someone had been into the oil pump and hacked it up, so was only holding 7 psi with engine warmed up and 40 wt oil in it.
Ordered .002 under rod bearings. Polished the nasty stuff off the crank today, installed the bearings dry and plastigauged, then put back in oiled up.
Looks like between .002 and .004 clearance is where I wound up. Does this sound about right?
