RECAPTURE YOUR HISTORY At the 30th Annual Heritage Festival
In today's hectic, fast-paced world, we often overlook our past and the rich transportation history of Berks County. On Saturday & Sunday, October 1 & 2 the Berks County Parks & Recreation Department presents the annual Heritage Festival from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Berks County Heritage Center. Come and recapture your past at this festival dedicated to celebrating our area's history and transportation heritage through demonstrations, exhibitions, music, lectures, walks, and arts & crafts. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the many performances throughout each day. A variety of refreshments will be available both days. Admission is FREE to the public, with a $2.00 parking donation. The Heritage Center is located on Red Bridge Road off Route 183, 1/2 mile south of the Rte. 222 exit. For directions check here. Call 610-374-8839 for registration of your vehicle or wagon or more information.
