Ken. Sounds like we have a lot in common. I use to go to the woods and gather our winters supply from the county forest land. Cut it with an OLD Roper (two man gas saw from Sears)chain saw.Brought up a saw rig that would ring in your ears for what seemed like forever.lol.Did that for many years. Then in 1985 bad health issues started. I Still try and help the son & daughter with what ever I can. Talk about depression, It comes and goes, but if I can be of some help , makes me feel worth while. Now about the ants, Mostly termite workers with wings, and I too used gasoline with old motor oil and a match.Haven't seen any in this supply of wood as yet.Weather is going to hold us back if it rains tomorrow. Roys Idea of a smoke fire would work but with my luck, The wind would blow the smoke back to me. lol.Yep folks keep safe and watch out for those blasted hornets. Regards LOU.
