I was recently fortunate enough to be able to purchase my grandfather's original 1948 John Deere model A at auction last weekend. I am very proud to have that piece of my family's history that worked his Iowa farm for over 60 years...but currently have very limited storage options at my house in North Carolina. For the forseable future, the tractor will have to be stored outside and I do not have room for a carport or any covering structure. I guess I am looking for a outdoor tractor cover? Any suggestions on where to find a cover or opinions on the best materials to use for a cover would be greatly appreciated. I know that you do not want to use a tarp or other heavy materials that might trap water and mositure on the tractor. Any thoughts on how to best protect that great piece of Iowa iron would be appreciated!
