first off.. ebay has a money back guarantee if you use their paypal. And they will refund your money. Been there, done it, many times.. so all you got to do it to read instructions.
as to anywhere else.. you dont know if this guy is lagit or not. I would be very very leary of doing biz anywhere else.
I have done over a 1000 transactions on ebay. been screw about 3 times.
one time the lady died on me and I didnt file in 30 days.
one time the guy screwed me and I didnt file in 30 days.
and one time the guy and I argued about him sending me the wrong part and he screwed me, and guess what.. it was past 30 days so ebay will not intervined.
The 3 to 5 other times, I simply filed and ebay refunded my money. One time when I purchased a bunch of tv cameras parts, that had been rained on and clearly damaged before it was shipped,, ebay gave back my money and told me to keep the $2000 bucks worth of cameras for my trouble.
