We have a large scrapyard near us. Unknown to most all customers at that time, you are being videotaped by the scrapyard owner when you transact business with him. Neighbor had six front end tractor weights come up missing one morning during harvest last yr. They appeared in some of the scrapyard videotape. Videotape was turned over to local police and they id'ed the guy, matched his name with sales receipt, nailed him with evidence in 4-5 days. Owner got his weights back. Thief got tangled up in court with no defense whatsoever.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
