huntingreen2day2, Nobody has yet answered your question.... When the soft green hull turns brown and starts pulling away from the hard shell of a whole pecan! Time to harvest?.....Anytime now, take a tarp or any large wagonsheet to catch them, when they fall to the ground,,,,, take a cane pole and thrash the nut clusters and let them fall to the ground, pick them up and put in a bucket. take them to a buyer and see what happens $$$$. Talked to a fellow the other day that made just South of $900 on 2 trees last year!
