Yep, my 05 will drop to zero while driving down the road.. It keeps getting slower and slower, no matter how hard I push the pedal.. Don't do it always, but then again, the truck very rarely goes more than 8-10 miles one way these days.
Dad's 04 would read anywhere from 35-40 to max speed at a idle, in park.. They fixed dad's under warranty, but he was just above the mileage, somehow, still got it covered.. Seems like they'd fix em free up to 75k miles?? Can't recall all what years though.
Uncle's 04 w/ duramax has a intermittent fuel gauge issue.. Like it'll hover at 3/8 of a tank (for what seems like a while), then after the truck stalls (usually as it runs out of fuel LOL), the low fuel light comes on and the fuel gauge drops..
The clusters are also available thru NAPA.. seems like my price was around $119... With a nearly $400 core charge.. They REALLLLY want those dudes back..
