Just read your replys below about the little power unit. That said I can understand you passing on the deal and that's fine, I didn't realize when I looked at it that is was only a two cylinder....my bad.... I just bought a mid 50's Model 11s Kwik Mix Dandie concrete mixer from a guy and it has a Wisconsin VE4 4 cylinder power unit setting on it that needs alot of TLC, and the gas tank, etc all looks alot like the one on the unit in your pics.
That said don't let distance bother you when it comes to selling something, or you put yourself at a disadvantage right off the bat. Heck over the years I've sold a 6" Thompson pump to an outfit in Canada (took it to a trucking terminal), some two welding positioners weighing over 1500 lbs apiece to a company in TX (had a truck come to the house and pick them up), a 400 plus lb lathe steady rest for a big lathe to a guy in IL (had his wife drive down pick it up), a 500 lb Dodge gearbox to a guy in West Va. (drove down himself and picked it up) etc, etc, etc. In other words if someone can get a 'deal of a lifetime' on something, and/or want's or needs something bad enough they will be more than happy to pay for the shipping or make other arrangments to get the item picked up and to them.....if it's not that important to them they won't.....
It never hurts to make sure you to do a little research and to have a buyer lined up before shelling out your own money for something, when possible. That's all perfectly normal and understandable. Like I said though don't let the size of an item, shipping, etc get to you, especially if you can get a deal on something and still make a little for yourself for your time and effort.

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Journey to Ankeny - by Cindy Ladage. We left Illinois on the first day of July and headed north and west for Ankeny, Iowa. Minus two kids, we traveled light with only the youngest in tow. As long as a pool was at the end of our destination she was easy to please unlike the other two who have a multitude of requirements to travel with mom and dad. Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
