Had my breakfast and was back at our room at the computer. Somebody walked in the door, it was my son. "Ready to go to the State Fair?" So down the hall we went. Stopped by mom who was getting her breakfast to let her know. Drove out the door. Got myself into car. Son moved the electric wheel chair to the rear of his Dodge Calaber and opened the rear hatch, Released the latch for the seat assembly snd placed seat in the car and then man handled the power pack in. It is very heavy so off we go for the 60 mile drive. Son was doing final fitting for a show string.Son at been there on Saturday and done the clipping and had to do the final work, Such a setting the top lines, just before they go in the show ring. It is equivelant to a womwm putting on her make up. Ended up with two 1st and reserve Grand champion. Made me proud that they had hired him to prepare snimals that they had paid $5000 for. Had one we had bred of anothr breed be grand Champion. I could remember bottle feeding her has Calf We got taken out for steak supper. Got back the the home and headed to the room. Met my wife in hallway. She said. "Hi honey, I've been looking for you". Those are wonderfull words to hear. gitrib
