but i kind of like the idea if you see one in the back yard ,shoot it then.one well placed shot generally does the trick.In my opinion,what went wrong here was the bear lived long enough to chase the dog in the first place.LOL shooting the bear when its in your house,is like killing the bull for goring the bullfighter.It all goes back to that stupid sign thing.The folks probably have been seeing that bear for months,you know how it works,thought it was sort of cool to see him every day.Then one day the bear decided he had enough of some useless hound yapping at him and did what a bear does.Who's fault would you say it was?the bears? or the folks who more or less invited him in?my thought is this,if your not going to do something about them running around the neighborhood,its your own fault when they come in the house.Sort of like the skunk in the chicken house,you can keep the skunk out,or you buy lots of chickens.i just dont get all those folks who think a bear , deer ,or things in your yard is natural.
