The older shot guns have much better workmanship.Ive looked at Mossbergs, very rough.A friend gave me a Stevens pump gun years ago , its a nice gun.I like the Ithaca,its a well made gun.I see them at gun shows often.Later models have inter changable barrels.Its all steel.I have an Ithaca double my uncle gave me over 40 years ago.Ithaca has been in and out of business for several years, the last models they made were overpriced.
