Hi john, you never know what the winters are going to be like up here, there has been some years where I only had to plow the snow off the drive way once all winter. On other years you seem to be plowing snow all the time. As far as the temp,same thing, it can be cold as heck then the next day it could be raining and melting.
The farm land goes a quite a bit further north then where I am, I am in the south peace region of alberta.
There are not many rocks around here, but I have seen a few quarter sections not to far north of me where you could walk across it without stepping on any dirt.
