It has been over a month since I entered the nursing home. So, what do I think by know. First being with my wife is real special. You learn not to be your contrary, obstinate shelf. Battle putting on those shocks, shoes, getting on that favorite sweater, RELAX, one of those nice young aids will help you. They will throw back your blankets and adjust the bed, to raise your feet or you head, The food is the best home cooking around. They rolled Mom and my beds together side by side. They protect us from each other buy keeping the guard rail up. I have learned to not cling to Margery, She has been her for seven yrs and has survived and made friends in the staff and other residents. They love here and look out for her. She enjoys old picture I have on the computer and hearing her music, Seeing her happy is so important. gitrib
