When compared to last Monday s sale, slaughter cows sold mostly 2.00-3.00
higher with some steadiness noted for fleshier type cows. Demand good.
Slaughter bulls and bullocks sold steady to 2.00 higher. Demand good. Cattle
supply included 49 percent slaughter cows and 25 percent slaughter bulls. All
prices quoted per cwt.

1980 lbs 72.50-76.00; very high dress 115.00-121.00. Bullocks: 850-1330 lbs
82.00-86.00, high dress 930-1495 lbs 88.00-91.00, low dress 1060-1285 lbs
75.00-80.00.

Calves: Compared to last Monday's sale, Holstein bull calves sold sharply
lower, mostly steady, with moderate demand. Heifers sold firm on a light
test. Demand light. All prices per cwt.

Holstein Bull Calves: Number 1 95-115 lbs 130.00-152.00; 80-95 lbs 90.00-
110.00. Number 2 95-120 lbs 110.00-125.00; 85-95 lbs 75.00-95.00. Number 3
95-110 lbs 70.00-100.00; 75-90 lbs 50.00-70.00. Utility 65-100 lbs 25.00-
60.00.

Holstein Heifers: Number 1 75-100 lbs 185.00-220.00. Number 2 75-90 lbs
100.00-140.00. Non-Tubing 60-80 lbs 15.00-60.00.
