I just don't get all the tatoos. I've put this old frame of mine through a lot of stress and trauma overn the years, but I've never had the lightest urge to deface it with a tatoo.
Even the Marine Corps came down hard on tatoos a coupla years ago. It once was almost a rite of passage for a Marine to get a Marine Corps emblem tatooed on his forearm upon graduating from boot camp. (I never did).
Now, a couple of years ago the Corp put out a directive that no tatoos were acceptable if they were visible while wearing any authorized uniform. Marines who already had visible tatoos had to have them entered into their SRB so they could prove to the Corps that they already had them when the directive came out.
