I know that I may be very unfair but as a child before television their was a radio program called the FBI. After every episode they always put out a bulletin of one of their 10 most wanted and always there was a description of their tattoo's. Sixty years later I still associate it with low life. If you want to be sucessfull a person needs to look sucessfull. How many lawers, doctors, bankers, corporate executives, and other business people do you meet with tattoo's all over their bodys? How many people would stay on an airliner if the captain got on with tattoos all up and down the side of his face, baggy shorts with the crotch down to his knee caps and a dirty shirt and gruby tennis shoes on. You only need to look back at some old photos of baseball games and you can see even in the depth of the depression people would dress up to go to a ball game. Today I see people go to church and funeral homes looking like they live in a rat hole.
