Many below are recommending you hire out the combining, just lease out the land and forget it, etc.- I'm thinking this is kind of a hobby type thing for you, and what kind of hobby has you hiring other guys to do it? You can get an older combine in decent shape that will work for you.
I agree with others that you're tractored up enough already- save your money for other equipment. But the ones bragging about farming 2 sections with an 8N, a mule and a forked stick obviously were doing it full time. I agree you need big enough stuff to do the job by working nights and weekends, but you'll find that a 4020 with properly sized equipment will make pretty quick work of 40 acres.
