Why don't you just add it to the back of your 8 row with either 7 or 9 rows. I have a neighbor who built one of these. He used the assist wheels to raise it just tee'd the cylinders. Then ran two goose-neck type arms forward to his original planter . First he tried 2/5/16 balls for the hitch. too rigid. then went to a farm wagon type hitch with 10 in of jaw. let it flex. He has used it for 8 or 10 yrs. Vic
