Had the same issue at Walmart once. I wanted to buy a tool box. For some reason they were in cardboard boxes in pairs. Didn't really need 2, but for $9 I couldn't beat it. Turns out when they went to ring me up at the check out the bar scanner on the box wouldn't register. After some hassle with managers they gave me the pair for $9. Whe I got home and pulled them out of the box I realized they were SUPPOSED to be removed from the box and sold as $9 a piece. Went back to Wal Mart tried to explain that the stockman had the display all goofed up and that I wanted to return the extra tool box I should not have recieved. They were totally baffled by this. In the end on gal goes "I think he's just trying to be honest" and they gave me the extra tool box for free.
