You can add in schools that have been telling kids sense the 60's or earlier that they need to study so they don't have to work hard.
Makes me kinda proud of my sons and SIL's. Oldest son is in a working band, has a part time job and is also self employed, 2nd one isn't afraid to get his hands dirty but works IT about 60 hours a week, 3rd is working/self employed/college student and 4th is working and in the Army National guard. My SIL #1 is a full time mechanic at a GM dealer plus works a part time job and is also 2x self employed (part owner of a repair shop and has a small backhoe dozer thing going) #2 is an electrical engineer with Rockwell and Air Guard, currently deployed # 3 drives over the road then busts his hump to help out on the farm when he's home, my daughter wants him home and is currently doing an internship and he's panicked because he's worried about having a job!
