A tiny speck of dirt can make the float valve leak by.You are the fool for making that post.The Grose jet will leak, The viton tip needle will leak, the steel tip needle will leak.All gravity feeds gas systems have to be shut off when you park the tractor.Same goes for the Model T Ford and the model A.Floats with gas inside are common.
