I saw one of those setting on the floor a couple few years ago up at the Deere guy while picking up some parts, and I don't recall what it was going for, but was maybe something like $15,000.00? I'm not sure. Perhaps they meant $12,750.00 and it came out as $2,750.00? I have to admit, was probably best equipped garden tractor I ever saw.
I know that a few years before that when I asked about the '70 4520 that was setting out there needing some serious work, and was about 20% on the rears, he said something like $30K or maybe $35K or maybe $40K, I don't recall, and I asked "WHAT?!?!?". Turns out that he was talking about those new 4520's on display out front that resemble this thing in your picture that are not really 4520's, nor will they ever be. When I pointed to the real deal 4520 and asked "You want that much for that?", he said "Oh, that one" and looked it up. $4,500.00 for the real 4520, so I went and got the cash and came back and took it with me. She needs a paint job and aint pretty, but she sure is stout.
