I bought some new glue thats out for a couple repair jobs on plastic & rubber . Its called Gorilla Super Glue . It"s nothing like the old super glue that sticks immediately & sometimes causes problems . This Gorilla glue sets up slower giving a person some time to make those last second adjustments . Plus when you put the cap back on & then wanta use it again later , the caps screws off & the glue still flows out the end of bottle (which is a plus). Give it a try . HTH ! God bless
