Had the wire on the baler, couldn't run it through. Used heavy stiff wire about 1/8 diameter, persuaded it with a hammer.
More trouble today. Belt got twisted, had chain on tractor to support roller while lowered lid to reduce tension. I recently had new lacings put on and was able to take belt apart and straighten it. Kept me from finishing what i raked today. Did finish what I had raked yesterday. One more clear day forecast, then rain expected Friday, but I'm not going to bet on rain. Best part is I'm baling just across road from house and it's a straight shot across the highway to my driveway.
