Just bought a MF 65 gas that has been sitting a lot in the last few years. It has the usual needs but the brakes do not work much at all. I know this is a problem with old Masseys. but what should I do or try before we are forced to pull it apart to do a major brake job. Is there some way to break everything loose, free up the mechanizm and give it a chance to work? This tractor will only get about 200 hours per year, but will certainly need some brakes on our hilly farm.
