The heart is in the pressure cooker as I type this. I like to cook it for a while as they can be a bit tough if you don't. Got two white onions cut in half in there. Later I'll take the heart out, throw in some potatoes, carrots and rutabaga and cook them for a bit. Um Ummm! Deer heart sandwiches for lunch tomorrow too. Slice it and put it on good whole grain bread with butter and lettuce and a slice of raw onion. Lunch like that makes you look forward to going to work. Gotta cut up the liver and get it in the freezer tonight too. I only saw a fawn this weekend but my buddy took a nice big doe. Two more weekends to hunt though so I'm hoping to get one myself. Oh, and we did go recover the doe with the 4000 and the 3 pt boom pole - just to keep this on topic.
