I was wondering how long it was going to take to get some giggles on the 60 mph. The tire guys here in my town are all brain dead or maybe they sniff too much rubber cement. I"ve even thought about buying a tire machine to do my tire work myself. None of them will mark an car tire so they know how they took it off so I end up having to have the tires balanced again. One guy almost burned a hole through another tractor tire roughing it to put a patch on it. It would probably be best if I repaired it myself. Some others made comment that the tire sealant I"ve been using would be hard to put the boot on. If these guys are that stupid, I"m not sure I want them working on the tire anyway. I"ve never heard of a tire boot. It sounds like a perfect solution. That tractor is so light the tires don"t flex very much anyway. Even if it started leaking a little, it probably would let me put a tube in. That"s what I had in mind with the hot patch. Thanks everybody!
