They just don't look good, I know the money and time your putting in your tractor, I would find a set of 12 inch or use 13.6x 38's. I just finished a 44 special last spring, a two year project that had the factory cast iron wheels with 11 inch rims, it had a brand new set of Firestones on it when I bought it, I sandblasted and painted the wheels and had the tires back on the first winter while I did the engine and body work and paint the second winter. I kept looking at those tires all winter and they were round as balls on top, I just couldn't stand it, I found a set of cast center 6 rail spin outs from a 444 with 12 inch rims and there on there right now and look great. It also depends on what brand of tire you will use, Firestones have a wide midsection and narrow lug bars, I have a 444 with Titans on the same wheels and they even fit better. Just my $.02.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
