I have good friend of mind who owns one and he has enjoyed his experience. We went shooting two years ago and he shot the top of a small pine tree off at 15yards, then proceeded to shoot bull's eye on a target at 50yards. his only complaint was in failure of the bolt to cycle if the trigger was held down after firing. I enjoy the idea of a survival rifle and believe it would be worth purchasing one if I did allot of camping or backpacking in large forested areas where there would be a chance of getting lost. Personally I'm a big fan of Henry Rifles, I own a .22LR Golden Boy and after accidentally breaking the front sight off, was able to get it replaced and re-sighted by Henry at a very low cost and did not have any problems with costumer service. Best of luck, either rifle would make a great gift.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
