Dessert, hands down. Pies are best, especially apple, pumpkin and just about any berry pie.
I also really like the stuffing and mashed potatoes with giblet gravy. My mother used to make a wonderful cole slaw. I never did get the recipe, though I watched her make it many times when I was a kid. My daughter and I sort of used my recollections and our combined taste buds to cobble together a reasonable facsimile.
My favorite part is sitting around afterward and realizing that this is the beginning of the holiday season and Christmas is right around the corner. December has been a very slow month for me for several years, so we make the most of it as a family.
